Spelling Original spelling included a diacritic, as Laonome kröyeri Malmgren, 1866, but, as this matter concerns a Swedish language journal, usage, and author, the spelling is not corrected to 'kroeyeri'. Only usage 'based on a German word' must be corrected under the ICZN Code (Art.32.5.2.1). In Sweden an ö/Ö is used instead of the ø/Ø in Denmark or Norway, therefore the honouring of the Dane Henrik Krøyer became the Swedish Kröyer. [details]Unverified
Distribution Downstream part of Middle St. Lawrence Estuary; lower St. Lawrence estuary [details]
Habitat infralittoral and circalittoral of the Gulf and estuary [details]
