The hydroid Cordylophora inkermanica was for the first time described from Sevastopol Bay of Black Sea (Inkerman) (Ukraine) from shells of molluscs Mytilus galloprovicialis and stones in 1983. The new records of the species were in September 2001 in Grigorievski estuary (on Potamogeton pectinalis) and in Sukhoj estuary (on Zostera marina and Z. noltii). The C. inkermanica was recorded the year round with the maximal abundance in period from August to October and minimal in period from December to March.
