Type material  Type material of Clydonia borealis could not be found in any Scandinavian institution and is considered lost. The type locality is the Norwegian Sea, near the Lofoten Peninsula, 200–300 fathoms. A female and a male (about 5.5 mm ) are illustrated by Sars (1882). [details]
