There is a long-standing ambiguity about the date of this publication. The Zoological Record, for example, has 1942 as the date; Bassler (1953) uses 1942 for the genera (except for one with a typo "1952"). The front cover of this issue has "1941" printed, the back cover has "Uppsala 1941", and the last page of the text, before the plates has "Tryckt den 23 september 1941"
