Editor's comment The taxonomy of the genera Idmonea, Exidmonea and Idmidronea is confused. Idmonea sensu stricto is considered to be limited to fossil material. The other two genera warrant thorough revision: many of the species identified as Idmidronea may instead belong to Exidmonea[details]
