Diagnosis Test elongate, tapering gradually at both ends, 0.7 mm to 1.2 mm in length; wall proteinaceous, hyaline, imperforate, with fine longitudinal surface striations; aperture rounded at the larger end, a small temporary opening may be present at the opposite end; one nucleus.
