Nomenclature This is a homonym of Luetkenia Claus, 1864, a Crustacea genus. Not all species in Luetkenia Duncan have been tracked down, but since the type species L. arctica is now a synonym of Ophiopleura borealis, Luetkenia Duncan can no longer be valid.
This genus is different from Luetkenia Brock, 1888! [details]
