Type species Hartman catalogue gives Serpula triquetra (as Pomatoceros triqueter) as type species of Pomatoceros, but the type can only be Pomatoceros tricuspis Philippi, by monotypy. Hartman's entry reflects that P. tricuspis is a subjective synonym of S. triquetra. [details]
