Ecology Subtidal, more or less brackish water, generally muddy bottoms. [details]

Ecology It has been found in highly polluted habitats (Erseus 1984) as well as sites with highly fluctuating salinities (Erseus 1981). The Saudi Arabian record again demonstrates its tolerance to high salinities (42 ppt). [details]
