Distribution Cerithium nesioticum has one of the widest geographic ranges of any cerithiid species. It occurs from the Red Sea south to South Africa, throughout the Indian Ocean to SE Asia, Western Australia, and the Indonesian Archipelago. In the Pacific, it is found from Japan south to Norfolk Id, and throughout Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia, as far north as the Hawaiian Islands and east to the Pitcairn Islands.
