Distribution The species is now known from the Black Sea and the North Sea, and it can therefore be expected to occur along most of the European coasts including the Mediterranean.  [details]

Ecology The habitat range is also great; the species was found in subtidal (100-120 m), probably soft sediments in the Black Sea, whereas all the new material was found intertidally in sand, partly in association with Arenicola burrows. [details]
