Editor's comment Based on a figure of an unidentifiable Hydroides, but synonymised by McIntosh (1923:348) in a very extensive synonomy for H. norvegica. It was perhaps equally likely to be H. elegans. [details]
Taxonomy Serpula mülleri was a new name of Berkeley for Serpula vermicularis sensu Müller (1788: vol 3:9, plate 86,fig 7-9), an indeterminable Hydroides. [details]
