Diagnosis Test ovate in outline, slightly flattened, periphery broadly rounded, early chambers quinqueloculine, later added in a single plane on alternate sides as in Spiroloculina; wall calcareous, imperforate, porcelaneous, rugose surface due to longitudinal striations; aperture terminal, ovate, with an elongate and terminally bifid tooth.
