Spelling Graff discusses the misspelling of marmorata and marmorosa, and because of the confusion it might cause with Mesostomum marmoratum Schultze, he proposes the name M. robertsonii. Luther (1904) re-installs the genus Tetracelis, and rightfulli adopts the name Tetracelis marmorosa. The name was also spelled wrongly by Ehrenberg (1831). [details]
