Diagnosis Test discoidal, megalospheric test up to 4 mm, microspheric one up to 12.5 mm in diameter, early stage planispiral, later chambers annular, early chambers of the microspheric test subdivided internally by rudimentary radial septula, septula less distinct and may be incomplete in the megalospheric test; wall calcareous, porcelaneous, surface ornamented with fine radial striae; megalospheric test consisting of a single row of ovate to slitlike apertural pores in the median plane, in the microspheric test the pores may be centrally constricted and finally form two separate rows, in the adult the pores may be irregular both in shape and arrangement.
