Diagnosis Test subcircular in outline, flattened, chambers one-half coil in length, early stage quinqueloculine, later planispiral with gradually shorter chambers so that final stage may have more than two chambers per whorl; wall calcareous, imperforate, thin and translucent, with finely pitted surface; aperture at the end of the final chamber, a very elongate narrow slit, with bordering lip but without a tooth.
