Diagnosis Test discoidal, globular proloculus followed by enrolled nonseptate tubular chamber of about one whorl, then by two or more whorls with up to eight chambers each that are separated by radial to slightly curved sutures, chambers partially overlapping the earlier whorl on both sides of the symmetrical test; wall calcareous, thin and imperforate, porcelaneous, smooth; aperture at the open end of the final chamber, arcuate in form, as the lateral chamber walls overlap the previous whorl.
