Diagnosis Test an elongate slender tube of constant diameter, may be slightly arcuate, up to 6 mm or 7 m111 in length; wall constructed of firmly cemented acicular sponge spicules, aligned parallel to the sides of the test in more or less irregular overlapping tiers; aperture at the open ends of the tube.
