Diagnosis Test elongate ovate, with narrow chambers a half coil in length in quinqueloculine arrangement; wall relatively thick, very finely agglutinated on an organic base and insoluble in acid; aperture at the end of the chamber, rounded to semilunate, depending on the degree of compression against the previous whorl, may be produced on a short neck.
