M. Ordovician to Holocene; cosmopolitan; Arctic Ocean: Kara Sea, Greenland Sea, from 670 m to 700 m.; N. Atlantic, from 90 m to 5,500 m, S. Atlantic, at 300 m to 5,600 m; Antarctic, at 3,350 m; N.
