Synonymy van der Linden & Eikeboom (1992) first proposed the synonymy of Pyrgulina intermixta Monterosato, 1884 with Odostomia monozona Brusina, 1869, but still used the senior name. The synonymy was endorsed by Giannuzzi-Savelli et al. (2014), as Parthenina monozona [details]
