A new species of marine nemertean, Paroerstedia nigrimaculata sp. nov., is described and illustrated from a single specimen found among Corallina is a lower shore rock pool at Rhosneigr, Anglesey, North Wales. No Paroerstedia species has been recorded previously from the British Isles. The systematics of the genus and its contained species are discussed.
