Biology Type of larval development: direct (non planktotrophic) denoted by paucispiral protoconch [details]

Diagnosis Shell 1.6 to 2.3 mm high, with protoconch of 1.25 whorls and teleoconch of ca. 3 whorls. Protoconch with a strong adapical keel; teleoconch with a strong median keel resulting in an unmistakable profile, and a spiral sculpture of flat cords, much broader than interspaces. Outer lip opisthocline, thickened externally by a rim sloping gently towards the adjacent surface of body whorl; smooth inside. Shell white.  [details]
