Etymology Etymology of genus name not published in original paper. However, the name is derived from the Smithsonian Museum. The curator at that time M.L. Jones was very helpful during his study of Pierantoni's material, that Ralph Brinkhurst named the genus after the Museum (pers. comm. R. Brinkhurst to T. van Haaren, November 29, 2020) [details]
