Nomenclature Valdés & Gosliner (2001) invoked ICZN Art. 23.9 and considered Aporodoris a nomen oblitum and Taringa Er. Marcus, 1955 a nomen protectum. However, their reversal of precedence is nullified by the usage of the name Aporodoris by Bergh (1905), Marcus & Marcus (1967: 91) and Burn (1973). [details]
