Gibbula ardens (von Salis, 1793) — specimen from a Cymodocea bed in Bay of Genoveses, Almería, S. Spain (actual size 8.3 mm)
Description This population is untypical because it lacks the red colour on early whorls and subsutural area, which is usual in the Mediterranean and suggested the species name.
