Additional information (en): This feature has a nearly conical shape. It is part of the existing GengoSeamounts, as well as An-ei Seamount that was named from a Japanese era. "Gengo" means a period of time in Japanese history. Minimum depth (m): 1178. Maximum depth (m): 3776. Total relief (m): 2598. Dimension/size: 17 km x 22 km.    
GEBCO: associated meeting, proposer and year of proposal (en): Associated meeting: SCUFN-37. Proposer: Japanese Committee on Undersea Feature Names (JCUFN). History: 2024.    
GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: Japanese survey vessel "Takuyo". Year of discovery: 2002. History: Named in association with the nearby An-ei Seamount. "Minami" means 'south' in Japanese.
