Dr Kibblewhite was the first person to detect submarine volcanoes northeast of New Zealand using the RNZN hydrophone array and then subsequently surveyed several of the volcanoes in the southern Kermadec arc. |

It forms a volcanic cone with a small satellite peak on its southern flank. Minimum depth (m): 990. Maximum depth (m): 2200. Total relief (m): 1210. Dimension: 10 km x 13 km. |
