Notes Additional information (en): This feature is interpreted as resulting from a rifting of the proto Kyushu-Palau Ridge. "Tenkai" is a blend word of "Tennosei" and "Kaiosei". "Tennosei" and "Kaiosei" mean Uranus and Neptune in Japanese, respectively. All undersea features around the Kyushu-Palau Ridge are named after stars and planets. The single position is that of the shallowest point of the feature. Minimum depth (m): 5389. Maximum depth (m): 5877. Total relief (m): 488. Dimension/size: 15 km × 20 km.
