Additional information (en): This feature has an elongated shape and a steepness of 4 to 10°. It is the continuity on the seafloor of Real river on the continent. The canyon is known since the 1970's and has been mentioned in many scientific papers and publications. Ref. REMAC Project "Geomorphology of the Brazilian Continental Margin and adjacent oceanic areas", Junior et al (2017). Minimum depth (m): 35. Maximum depth (m): 2876. Total relief (m): 2841.
