Additional information (en): Adopted from NZGB Gazetteer. This feature consists of a series of small valleys, approximately 95 km offshore from the NW end of the North Island of New Zealand. The name first appeared on Coastal Bathymetry Series (CBS) chart 'Three Kings' in 1990. Also written "Seavalleys" on charts. Minimum depth (m): 550. Maximum depth (m): 1650. Total relief (m): 1100. Dimension/size: 31 km x 28 km.
