Notes Additional information (en): This feature has an arrow head shape. It was described by Filipina marine geophysicist Jenny Barretto, in her scientific paper "Benham Riseunveiled: Morphology and structure of an Eocene large igneous provincein the West Philippine Basin", published in Elsevier journal. Minimum depth (m): 3989. Maximum depth (m): 5297. Total relief (m): 1308. Dimension/size: 16 km x 23 km.

GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: Philippines survey vessel "Hydrographer Presbitero". Year of discovery: 2019. History: Named after Dr. Teodoro Santos, National Institute for Geological Sciences (UP-NIGS) of theUniversity of the Philippines. Dr. Santos was part of the multidisciplinary team that prepared the Philippine submission for an extended continental shelf in the Benham Rise Region, now called Philippine Rise.
