History: "Lanxi" means "Lanxi, Xishui County, Hubei province" in Chinese and is taken from the poetic lines “Si Lin Lan Xi, Xi Shui Xi Liu”. These lines belong to the poem book "A Visit to Clear Spring Temple in Qishui to the Tun of Huan Xi Sha", from the famous poet Su Shi, during the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD). |
