Event Description:
In the frame of MARBEF Theme 3, in cooperation with Polish Network of Marine Research Institutes MAREI, MARBEF-team in Institute of Oceanography, University of Gdansk, organize two open lectures.

1st. lecture
An Exchange Rate between Disciplinary Evaluations. A tool for territorial
planning. We will review the cost benefit analysis and present a new tool
to valuate natural and cultural inheritage.

2nd. lecture
The Azores in the History of the Atlantic. The history of the Atlantic
will be reviewed highlighting the role of the Azores Islands. We will also
analyse the effects of the Atlantic History on the sustainable development
of the islands.
