7th International Temperate Reef Symposium

Event Description:
The University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) will be hosting the 2006 International Temperate Reef Synmposium.

It is the world's premier conference on the ecology of rock reefs, with the objective to discuss research findings and develop agendas and strategies for the future. It fosters interdisciplinary links and would foster international collaboration and integration of MarBEF members. Steve Hawkins, Stuart Jenkins and Tasman Crowe are organising a session on biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, where they will present the BIOFUSE project to an international audience.

MarBEF support: MarBEF members can use their MarBEF funding for participation up to a maximum of 750 Euro for maximally 1 participant per institute.
