Habitat loss and conservation of European Marine Biodiversity

Eger, Hungary in cooperation with
The First European Congress of Conservation Biology

Aim: The ECCB conference in Eger has provided an opportunity to hold an advanced workshop to discuss current knowledge of the key issues of conserving European marine biodiversity, with the aim of preparing a multi-authored review paper on “European marine biodiversity threats and conservation needs.”

Organisation: All attendees at the ECCB are eligible to attend and members of MarBEF wishing to join should notify Dr Becky Aspden (rja4@st-and.ac.uk) and should also register through the European Congress of Conservation Biology organization. Early bird registration is still open for this workshop provided registration is faxed and not completed on-line and Dr Aspden is notified. Numbers will be restricted and places given of a first come first served basis. The timetable of events will begin with a 3 h session on the evening of the 22nd and further sessions notified.
