Training course on regional ocean governance for Mediterranean and Eastern European countries

Event Description:
This course focuses on the need to align the practice of ocean governance with the evolving global environment in the light of advances in science and technology. It takes a holistic approach, emphasizing the linkages between the natural, social and economic sciences which shape the development of sustainable governance of the Mediterranean, Black, Baltic and Caspian Seas.

The course is specifically designed to benefit mid-career professionals, government officials, educators, researchers and civil society participants, preferably with coastal/marine-related responsibilities. Preference will be given to candidates from developing countries of the Mediterranean and Eastern European countries.
