Summer School: Advanced Training for Women in Scientific Research



Location: Danube University Krems (Austria)

Event Description:
Systematic training will be provided within the frame of a Summer School in order to equip female researchers with the necessary skills at the respective stages of their careers (pre-, postdocs and beyond). ADVANCE will target especially scientists in natural sciences and technology, both in academia and in industrial research.

Target Group:
* Study in engineering, science, or technology completed
* Career stage: Pre- or post-doc (habilitation stage)
* Interested in or pursuing a scientific career in academia or industry

Nr. of Participants: 36 (18 participants will be invited by the ADVANCE Consortium)

Duration 2 modules
1. module: 23.07.07-03.08.07
2. module: 07.09.07-09.09.07

Admission fee: No admission fee for attending the Summer Schools
Participants are responsible for travel and subsistence costs

Application records will be evaluated by the consortium of ADVANCE.

These two courses are endorsed by MarBEF. This means that MarBEF members are allowed to book the costs of travel and subsistence for 1 participant up to a maximum of 750 EUR on their MarBEF account.
