Symposium Theme
Evaluation of the past, present and future status of the Severn Estuary in respect of our scientific knowledge of:-
Ecological processes; Impact of climate change;
Hydrodynamic processes; sediment quality and transport; Predictive tools and GIS;
Industrial impact; water quality and contaminants;
Marine conservation; habitats & potential influences of a tidal barrage; Archaeological aspects

Timing & Arrangements

• The Symposium will be held at the Trevithick Building, University of Cardiff, from Monday 7 April 2008 to Wednesday 9 April 2008;
• Registrations will begin at 12.00 on Monday 7 April and the meeting will open at 14.00 and will conclude at lunch time on Wednesday 9 April.
• Conference Dinner at 19.30 on Monday 7 April.

Costs
• The registration fee for each participant is currently estimated as £100 and £60 for students.
• The cost includes a book of Abstracts; lunch; coffee and tea.
• A Conference Dinner currently estimated at £40 per person.
• There will be a cancellation fee of £20 per person.
