32nd Annual Larval Fish Conference

Event Description:
The 32nd Larval Fish Conference will be held 4-7 August, 2008 in Kiel, Germany.
Registration and abstract submission for LFC2008 is now open.
Abstracts will be accepted from 1 February, 2008 for the Contributed Paper Session and the following Theme Sessions:

Larval ecology linked to physical processes,
Aquaculture and stock enhancement of early life stages
Early life history strategies of fish and cephalopods
Larval fish and cephalopod taxonomy
Developmental fish physiology: Exploring new frontiers in larval biology
Databases and tools on early life stages

Abstracts are required for all oral and poster presentations and must be submitted in English. You should identify, whether you wish your submission to be considered for one of the theme sessions or the contributed paper session and as a full oral presentation or a poster.
Abstract submission must be performed using the conference homepage. Details about registration, abstract submission and the conference in general are available at

The deadline for submitting abstracts is April 6, 2008.

This event is endorsed by MarBEF, which means that MarBEF member-institutes are allowed to book the costs of participation up to a total maximum of 750 Euros on their MarBEF account.
