CALMARO Symposium & Winter School: Marine Calcification: Challenges and Methodologies

Event Description:
Event announcement of the Marie Curie Initial Training Network CALMARO (Calcification by Marine Organisms)

The University of Paris-Sud XI (UPS) will host the first CALMARO training activity combining a symposium at the Muséum National d´Histoire Naturelle in Paris from 9th to 11th February 2009 and a Winter School at the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (LSCE) in Gif sur Yvette from 12th to 14th February 2009. The event will focus on “Marine Calcification: Challenges and Methodologies” and aims at providing early-stage researchers with a general introduction and a synthesis of methodological aspects related to the field.

PhD students and postdoctoral fellows are welcome to apply for participation until January 26th. Programme and application form are available at http://www.calmaro.eu/?News.
