MarBEF: Last call for MarBEF funding of European students enrolling in the EMBC Master course
Posted on 09 April 2009 14:54:41 by webmaster

MarBEF institutes can at the end of the MarBEF NoE award a study grant to a European student enrolling the Erasmus Mundus Master Course Marine Biodiversity and Conservation (EMBC). This course is considered as one of the outcomes of the MarBEF network.

You as an institute can propose a student yourself interested in enrolling in the course. The fees for enrollment have to be paid in April 2009. This fee is normally 3000 euro per year; thus a grant for one student can be at maximum 6000 euro (the EM Master Course lasts 2 years).

If you, or a student of you, is interested in this action, please contact the secretariat as soon as possible in order to get this action done before the end of April. In order to be able to participate in this action you should contact the EMBC secretariat (embc@ugent.be) by 22 April the latest. The EMBC secretariat will provide you then by 25 april with an invoice which can be used to transfer the money to the EMBC account.

Please can you forward this message to the colleagues and students at your institute.

More information about the course can be found on the EMBC website: http://embc.marbef.org
