Distribution This is one of the more common species of Lanceola, found in all the world’s oceans with a preference for warmer waters. It has not been found in the Arctic or Antarctic. It inhabits a wide range of depths from near surface waters (100 m) to depths exceeding 3000 m and sometimes even deeper. [details]
