Diagnosis Test ovate in outline, subtriangular to distinctly triangular in section, chambers onehalf coil in length, added 120¡ apart as in Triloculina; wall calcareous, imperforate, porcelaneous, surface smooth, striate to costate; aperture with a simple flap in the earliest chambers, becoming more complex in later stages, and distinctly cruciform in the adult.
