Diagnosis Test free, elongate, with few rounded to pyriform chambers in slightly irregular or arcuate series, each succeeding chamber attached near the base of the apertural neck of the preceding chamber; wall thin, of a single layer of agglutinated grains of quartz, mica, sponge spicules, or foraminiferal tests held in a minimum of organic cement but without a true organic inner layer; aperture terminal, rounded, produced on a slight neck.
