Editor's comment Dentalium pusillum Philippi, 1836 most probably is a juvenile Ditupa arietina, though it has been attributed to Dischides politus as well. See remark under Dentalium vayssieri too. [details]
Taxonomy Records under this name from the Indo-West-Pacific have all been referred to Ditrupa gracillima Grube, 1878 by ten Hove & Smith 1990; see Ditrupa cornea (confused) as well. [details]
