Comparison Intermediate between Rhizopsammia and Dendrophyllia in corallite integration. [details]

Diagnosis Corallum forming small bushy colonies; costae well developed and granular; Pourtalès plan well developed; pali usually absent; columella small and papillose; azooxanthellate. [details]

Remark This genus and family were monographed by Cairns (2001), which included a phylogenetic analysis based on morphology. Six species, only one being fossil. [details]
