Etymology The species name dordaidelosensis, meaning “living in Dor Daidelos,” is inspired by the book Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien. According to the book, Dor Daidelos is “The Region of Everlasting Cold” and the northernmost region of Middle Earth in the First Age. [details]
