Two new free-living nematode species of the genus Terschellingia De Man, 1888, found in the East China Sea, are described. Terschellingia filicaudata sp. nov. is characterized by large body with short cephalic seta, small buccal cavity cup-shaped, absence of pharyngeal posterior bulb, tail elongated with long filiform portion, spicules slender with hooked cephalate proximally. Terschellingia stenocephala sp. nov. is characterized by middle size body with a strongly tapered anterior end, minute buccal cavity funnel-shaped, absence of labial sensillae and subcephalic setae, circular amphidial fovea situated comparatively far from anterior end, pharynx with a distinctly rounded posterior bulb, large ventral gland, tail elongated with a long filiform portion up to 70-80%. An identification key to valid species of genus Terschellingia is given.
