Biology Type of larval development: direct (non planktotrophic) denoted by paucispiral protoconch. [details]

Diagnosis Shell 1.9 to 2.8 mm high, with protoconch of 1.25 whorls and teleoconch of three to four convex whorls forming a high spire. Protoconch smooth, teleoconch apparently smooth but with characteristic “Porosalvania” microsculpture consisting of minute (ca. 0.5 µm) pits loosely arranged spirally, visible only under high magnification of scanning electron microscope. Abapical area with three to four very flattened, very faintly marked spiral cords. Outer lip with a thin edge, distinctly thickened externally by a rim at a distance of the edge, smooth and not thickened inside. Shell white, translucent. [details]
